We kick things off on Wednesday night with the VIP party that starts at 7. Dinner is served from 7:30 to 8:30 and dancing to the Triumphs will start shortly after. You will need either a yellow wristband or a team wristband to attend. We keep the ball rolling Thursday from 7 p.m. till 11 p.m. We will be dining from 7:30 to 8:30 and dancing to the Grand Mullet Band with great dance music from the '80s in honor of our 25th year participating in this event (i.e., we started out during that decade). On Friday, from 10 a.m. to noon, 50 children (ages 2 to 5) and their chaperones from the Small Steps Nurturing Center will be enjoying a morning of fun and games with the members of the Cold River team. Y'all are welcome to attend and see the smiles on the little ones' faces. At the completion of this event, the weekend merriment officially begins. We will be serving up our award-winning barbecue and chicken between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. For your listen listening and dancing pleasure, Black Water will be playing until 11:00. You will need a "Neon Lime" (green) wristband or a team wristband for entry on Friday. The sun always shines in the Cold River Booth on Saturday mornings. This will be our 12th year to host about 100 Sunshine Kids and their families. It is a wonderful experience; please join us from 9 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. for the festivities. At 1 p.m., the party picks up where it left off on Friday night. And you won't want to miss our annual "Miss Blue Jeans Contest" starting at 3 p.m. It sure does draw a crowd, so plan to show up early! Mealtime is 6 till 9.
